Certificate Programme on Geographical Information System (GIS)

The Scientific and Environmental Research Institute (SERI) has launched the 3 months Online Certificate Programme on Geographical Information System (GIS) for enabling the Graduate Degree Holders with Geography as a subject in brief ideas on Geographical Information System.

Duration:

3 months. The session starts in January, April, July and October of every year.

Class timings:

Two days/ week.

Eligibility:

Graduate in any discipline with Geography as a subject. Final Year students may also apply.

Participation:

Students /Research Scholars /Faculty Members and any interested persons are eligible to participate.

Awards:

Certificate Programme on Geographical Information System will be awarded to all the successfully candidates by Scientific and Environmental Research Institute (SERI), Kolkata.

Evaluation:

Evaluation will be on the basis of submission of assignments and Practical.

An amount of INR 500 is to be paid before the submission of assignment

Step by step method for Registration:

• (1) Get the Admission Form downloaded and complete the same.
• (2) Pay the Admission Fee by NEFT/ Bank transfer/ Mobile banking.
• (3) Email the filled-up Admission Form and Payment receipt to: seri.inst@gmail.com
• (4) Receive the Registration Number and Study Materials by e-book.
• (5) Go through the e-book materials carefully.
• (6) Complete the assignments and send the same to the Institute by Email.
• (7) Receive the Certificate.
